Image Slideshow not working on Website Home page

    My website wwww.srs-it.co.uk having issues showing Slideshow on the front page. Until about 2 months ago, the images were working fine. Then I logged in to WordPress site to change my contact number and I could not edit the widgets. The drop downs dont work at all in WordPress Admin panel. The drop downs don’t work under any options or pages in Admin Panel. Hence I am not able to change my contact number on my website causing me to loose all my important customers calls.

    Secondly, there was a new update to the theme which i did and it stopped image slideshow on my home page. I have tried deactivating / reactivating all plugin but no luck. Restored the website to previous version but no help. Updated again to latest version of 3.9.1 but no luck.
    Restored from backup. No help. Tried in different browsers, nothing changes. I have tried adding new slide but that doesn’t appear.

    Please help me fix the drop down issue in WordPress Admin panel to change my contact number and display the images on my home page. No one is able to help me out and i am struggling to get help from last 2 months.
    I am happy to create an Admin account and give details so that someone can login and troubleshoot to fix it please.

    Thanks for your reply. I downloaded the theme 3 years ago and it was working absolutely fine until 2 months ago. It was from a website and theme number is Theme1591.
    I dont know what changed and it stopped working suddenly. I did not upgrade it unless i realized Drop downs were not working in Admin panel.

    I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from www.remarpro.com here. Have you tried using another theme?

    No. The theme was working fine for 3 years. How can it suddenly give issues. Is it because of any updates to themes ? I have not tried any other theme. I was looking for suggestions what else I can try to fix it. Not sure the theme provider can fix it. It started happening recently.

    Perhaps it is no longer compatible with the latest version of WordPress?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
