image slide won't load to list

  • I’ve been trying to insert an image slide – the window comes up to choose the image from teh media library, the slide appears in the list until I update and then it disappears. It does not show on the website page and is not in the list on the edit page.
    Also I tried removing an image in case there was a limit on the number of images but the same thing happened.
    This is in a widget.
    Any help on this would be appreciated.

    I just realized that when I tried to delete a slide image a similar thing is happening – the slide disappears from the list but when I update the slideshow it reappears – I’m thinking that in both cases the list is not updating.
    Again any help is appreciated
