Image Sizing

  • I am having an issue sizing an image when uploading it to a post. I am using the catch box theme. The system is uploading the actual size regardless of my doing the following independent of each other for testing purposes:

    1. Changed the thumbnail size to match the medium size dimensions. Used the ‘Force Regenerate Thumbnails’ plugin to force the thumbnail resizing.
    2. Editing the image and scaling it’s size.
    3. Set the size to medium using, Attachment Display Settings when setting featured image.

    Any suggestions?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
