Image sizes on category pages

Hi,
I’m using the Islemag theme (v 1.0.11) to create an online magazine. Each category denotes a particular section of the magazine, and each category page lists every article tagged with that category.
The featured image for each article is reflected on the category page, but for some reason they are appearing as different sizes, like so:
Ideally, I would like the images to display as in the second one linked above, without the margins on either side. I’m building my posts using the Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugin (v 2.4.) and the SiteOrigin widgets bundle v 1.6.1), and have made my articles almost identical across the board. The featured images are all 770 px x 430 px and, in theory, shouldn’t be displaying differently. I can’t figure out why they are.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ??
