Image sizes

  • Hi,

    We installed your plugin particularly to help with our mobile load speeds on amp pages and get a better google pagespeed result, after trying lots of other webP plugins which usually resulted in images not loading. I’ve got to say your plugin the the first that has worked properly, so thank you, you have done a great job.

    However on googles speed test it states that the image sizes could be reduced significantly (infact the image size actually went up after installing the plugin), are there any options or things I can tweak for this?

    We are using cache everything mode on Cloudflare.

    It looks like you’re (now) using Cloudflare Polish, which should do the trick.

    Unfortunately, when you’re using Cloudflare it’s not possible for PhastPress to selectively convert images to WebP for browsers that support it because Cloudflare does not support the HTTP Vary header.
