image size resizing to width=300px

  • Hi
    I am running WordPress 4.0 and use the Image Widget in the Sidebar Widget Area.
    All the images I am inserting always rescale to width=300px even though I have specified ‘Full Size’.
    This does not occur with ‘Text’ widgets, the text gets inserted width the specified width.
