Perhaps related to another post here of mine, WP/LR does not seem to like to upload images that are full resolution.

When I attempt to upload a full-size image, the process in Lightroom times out with an error saying it got an ‘Empty’ response from WordPress. However, in WordPress, the timed-out images appear in the Media Library, just not attached to the folder in the Organizer.

When I reduce the resolution to web standards, the process appears to work properly. However, this is really not acceptable, as I would like to have the image files available as printable downloads.

    Hi,

I think it’s because of a timeout; the bigger image is, the longer it takes to process it. Depending on how many image sizes (= thumbnails) are set on your server, and maybe extra plugins performing optimization, it takes more and more time. Unfortunately, the issue doesn’t happen in WP/LR Sync here; the plugin uploaded the original image, and the process seems to break when those thumbnails and extra operation by WordPress (and other plugins) are done. WP/LR Sync is waiting for all this to be finished to send a success status to Lightroom, and that’s why it doesn’t happen.

You can check your PHP Error Logs, you might get some more information about this. You can also discuss with your hosting service to modify the timeout settings.

Generally, I prefer to make sure the images uploaded aren’t too big, that’s usually simpler and better ?? You can always synchronize with better files later if you need, thanks to WP/LR Sync.
