• Hi!

So today I have been editing posts and I noticed for some reason or another, the option to resize images as normal is no longer available.

In a post, if I click an image to edit it, I should have the option to chose

    Small
    Medium
    Large
    Full Size

I was able to do this two days ago as I had some different sized images in the one post, and wanted to keep them all the same.

Now I cannot do this. There is no longer even an option which seems strange to me as I would consider this a WordPress default option, having nothing to do with the theme. The options to align the images and add links and alt text etc are all there. Just the resizing drop down menu is missing.

Is there an easy solution to fixing this? I changed my theme yesterday for a while to test out a new one but reverted back to the old one. I installed Jetpack so maybe there might be something conflicting there? I can’t see where though and have had no joy on the interwoogie.

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks in advance,

    Lisa

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

What version of WordPress are you using?
