Image Size on Frontend

    Hello!
    How could it be that I’ve uploaded image with file size 344kb to PhotoGallery backend and on the frontend it shows up as 407kb?
    For example the image is 407kb when downloaded.
    But the original file size is 344kb.

    Thank you for your patience,
    Please, kindly try setting image quality option from the Global Settings tab to a lower value – as of now the option also resizes the image when adjusting the quality,

    I tried to lower the quality and nothing has changed. Should I re-upload images for changes to take effect?

    Thanks for your help.
    I’ve re-uploaded the gallery with default quality set to 65% and now (interestingly) images are the same size in kilobytes as sources. Smaller than previous try.
