Image size for Profile block

    The AB Profile block is awesome, but sadly there is no way for selecting or filtering the image size for the profile image. The original, unresized image file is used instead (no srcset/sizes either because of this).

    This also introduces other side-effects like using a profile image with a very different aspect ratio which can result in CSS layout issues, the image had to be cropped first.
    This wouldn’t be an issue if the image size can be selected or filtered.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the feedback! We just updated the author profile block recently and it includes a properly sized image via srcset. This will be available in the next AB update, coming next week!

    As far as filtering, that’s something we’re still looking into. It’s not as easy to filter in the block world like it is with PHP. We’re still exploring the best way to do this, but hope to have a solution that we can use on all instances of images!
