Image size being set to incorrect dimensions

Did you try the regenerate plugin?

I used “Simple Image Sizes” to regenerate the thumbnails, because the regenerate plugin seems to have been having some problems and does not seem to be maintained.

I am still getting an output of 128 128 with my widget setting at 128 255….

Is there a way I can just turn off the thumbnail size and let css that I add control the size?

I’m having the same problem.See the latest three on this page in the right hand column. (Israel Houghton, Hyland, Mandisa). They were all added in the last week:

I’ve used Regenerate Thumbnails and Post Thumbnail Editor and it hasn’t changed anything. Also tried adjusting thumbnail size in the options. It’s not making the new thumbnails square like the old ones did.

I don’t know whats wrong, I saw your latest photo looks good. But please try the following steps to fix the size

1. Uncheck the default styles option
2. Remove all code from CSS box, replace it with

Thanks for getting back with me.

I changed the code, and it is making them square now, but they are just being stretched/squeezed, not cropped. You can take a look at the same link.

As for the latest post with Heather Williams, the featured image was square, so the thumbnail was square.

Yes, this is because the image source size. If you uploaded square image, the thumbnail should looks ok.
