    Hi,
    Hope everyone are well!

im pretty close being done with the site so i saved this “small” issue to last.
Have in mind im not a programmer ??
Everything is on the first page “Start”

    So the issue is:
1.1) The right bar/menu banners should be 300×250 px
But the “inspect element” tool only shows them as 207px x 107px

    Settings:
    Flex slider
    Advanced:
    – 100% width
    – Center align
    – Image crop > Disabled

1.2) The slider also have very strange margin to the right?
Tried everything in my theme setup but its “hanging” on to the right side of the menu

    2) The banners at the bottom should be 300x600px but are pressed into 313x156px?
    Settings:
    Flex slider
    Advanced:
    – 100% width
    – Center align
    – Image crop > Disabled

    Many thanks,
    patrik

  • Hi @ipconfig

The styling issues are from your theme. MetaSlider will just take the width of the container you put it in. For example, your theme has padding on the right sidebar that moves the slideshows off. See here: https://prnt.sc/r15cef

Similarly, your theme has defined each of the three footer widgets to take up 33.3% of the space, which comes out to 313px for each container. MetaSlider, if set to 100% width, will just fill the area.

For issue #1 you could just remove the padding on the widget area (or set to padding:0), but for the second issue maybe removing 100% width is the solution?

    Hello,
Many thanks and you pointed me in the right direction.
    That is now solved ??

Can you perhaps tell me the difference in:
    “Smart crop” and “Standard”?
How will 100% width impact those “image crop” settings?

Ill contact theme creator for the footer widget, many thanks again!

    Hi,

The smart crop will consider the height and width of the images where as the standard crop is just a hard crop based on the height and width you set. The easiest way to see the difference, however, would be to just try out both. It won’t hurt anything to switch between the two.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Hi,

I’ll mark this as resolved since we didn’t hear back but feel free to reply if needed.
