Which is the preferred image size for web stories plugin?

    This one?

“Use full screen, portrait images with good resolution (828 x 1,792)”

    Thanks in advance

@arlinaite Thank you for posting your question and researching the Best Practices for Creating a Successful Web Story document! That is correct that the guideline is to strive for images with resolution greater than or equal to 828 x 1792.

    Thanks for your answer @luckynasan
    I am confused:
    1) “Use full screen, portrait images with good resolution (828 x 1,792)”
828×1792 px has a different aspect ratio than the web stories plugin window
    2) If I try to place the image 828 x 1,792 I get a much smaller version.
    3) If I resize the image inside the plugin window adapting proportions, I arrive to 413 x 733 px. approx.
    What I am missing?

Note that there are a lot of factors that influence what image size is served to visitors (device, screen size, etc).

The editor will generate various thumbnail sizes for all your images and choose the most appropriate ones. You don’t really have to worry about that part.

Something like 828×1792 is a good minimum image size for the images you upload. That’s all you really need to worry about.

    Ok thanks
However 828 x 1,792 has the wrong ratio.
