Image size

  • Im using theme twenty eleven. I am trying to insert multiple images to a post in 1 column. I have selected full size and have edited the functions.php file to include:
    $GLOBALS[‘content_width’] = 800;

    The gallery images are still showing up as small thumbnails.
    what am I doing wrong?

  • Have you defined the width of the images under settings->media?

    You might have to rebuild new sizes, if so, I have used AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild with great success. (it doesent hammer your server)

    Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress 3.2 theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. Create a child theme for your changes. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.
