Image shrinking

    I’ve been having this issue for about a month now.

    Most of my featured images shrink without notice. I’ve deactivated Jetpack Photon, cleared the cache, and reviewed all media settings thoroughly, to no avail.

    The only way to fix it is with the ‘Regenerate Thumbnails’ plugin, but after a couple of hours the images shrink again.

    I’m getting sick of this.

    That’s an unusual one.

    When you say “shrink” do you mean that the featured images appear smaller on screen than they were previously? And that they change for no apparent reason?

    Or are the dimensions of the images stored in /wp-content/uploads/ actually getting smaller? Are the filesizes changing?

    Is this problem definitely happening on computers other than your own, or just yours?

    Check what plugins you have installed. Do you have any Smush type plugins that could be changing images?

    It’s the first situation. They change size without a reason, and I see it happening in more than one pc.

    File sizes are unchanged. I have WPsmush installed.

    I’ve already contacted theme support.

    How did I guess you had a Smush plugin installed?

    Deactivate it. Does the problem go away?
