    Hi

I wanted to check why the plugin places on-hover image sharing buttons on images in the header and footer of a site. I know that your docs say they get placed on all images of 200×200 or bigger and that we can remove them from individual images using data-a2a-overlay=”false” but surely there is no good reason to ever display them on images that are in a site’s header or footer?

Those site sections are reserved for navigational features, so pushing image sharing buttons in there will never be desirable. And it would be a lot easier if the plugin didn’t do that by default rather than requiring us to manually add markup.

Hi Jonas, great feedback for AddToAny core. I’ve put it on the roadmap to exclude image sharing from <header> and <footer> tags by default, and I expect this change to roll out within the coming weeks.

Thanks @micropat – appreciated & I look forward to the roll out.
