Image replacement of First Letter

Looking for a plugin that replaces the first letter of the excerpt (only) with an image based off any font I choose.

I know that there is the drop caps plugin, but I can’t seem to be able to get a version of this, so I was wondering if there any other plugins out there that do the same thing?
