Image Replace

    Hi,

    When we replace images in media library and update the alts tags the alt tags aren’t being changed in the browser – it’s as if Imagify is caching the image and alt tags and only allowing the image to be changed.

    We’ve tried clearing cache and deactivating the plugin but the issue persists.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks for your patience!

    Imagify will not change any parameter of image, especially if you don’t use WebP feature so this should not be caused by Imagify.

    It would be good to check if clearing browser cache helps. And, if not, it must be some caching that prevents it to show up – it would be good to check your .htaccess rules as it might also set expirations and does not get refreshed.
