Image rating website and new like plugin

I have made a working clone of a popular image sharing website using wordpress, bbpress and a custom plugin for liking posts. Been working on it off and on for the last three months, finally getting somewhere now.

You submit images and the community ‘likes’ them, with a neat little avatar array pulled etc, separate themed login and registration pages & edit user profiles that do not use the wp-admin, it’s all theme baby ?? Total integration with bbpress forums and a custom forum theme.

I will release the ‘I like’ plugin in future, it was designed with my theme in mind so the features so far are:

– Registered members only – guests cannot vote.
– display the number of likes for a post “10 people like this post”
– pull avatar array of like voters with get_avatar.
– Return posts that have been liked by a user.
– Return number of likes by a user (single and author.php).
– output a sidebar module (Displays like count, who liked the post, and form to like post.)
– Sort Most liked posts on a custom page: ‘popular’.
– and more coming.

I was thinking of a couple improvements that would make this plugin virtually a clone of the like button on facebook. It would be easy enough to pull a name list seen as I already grab the avatar list.
