Image paths suddenly changed

  • So this morning I woke up to find the image paths on 1/2 of my image wrong.

    They have the month date in the path

    /wp-content/uploads/2013/03/ScreamerProductShoot-052016-089-275×275.png

    But the date 2013/03 changed in 1/2 of my photos. They all started showing 2013/03 no matter when they were uploaded or where they are actually located.

    So they are all just not showing. Even in the admin panel if I go to the media section, a lot of them show there, but the image is broken.

    Yesterday I ran the smush plugin but that does not seem to be the case since some of the images I used it on are still there and some I did not run it on are gone.

    Is there any way to fix this? Is this something I need to change by hand for every image in the DB?

    Any ideas on what caused this?
