Since dec 27th I have been unable to use the photo uploader in the post editor to add images – they all appear broken. I have reverted to twenty ten and removed all plugins to no avail. Here is an example. https://rediscoveringdomesticity.com/2011/02/20/this-is-just-a-test/

I chatted with my hosting tech support. They said I have a problem with my image path. Of course, they were no help. They said I had to use the wp forums to learn how to use wp. (I love these forums, by the way!)

So… any ideas on what is going on?

    Thanks so much!

Well heck. Your code looks a-ok, so it is difficult to see what the problem is. I’m assuming you can see the image in the media manger page?

I’d like to login and see what the folder structure looks like and what files are in what folders.

I do a lot of WordPress work, hundreds of websites and don’t see this kind of problem. I suspect it may be a host issue but can’t be sure. Who is hosting the site? Oh, Fat Cow – Holy Cow!

I’m with Fatcow for hosting. I run a local mommy’s group site through them and was happy, so I jumped on board when I made the move to wordpress. Yup – holy cow! My husband has no issue with his wordpress site on the same account.

When I look in my media library, all I see from dec 27th on is the broken image thumbnail. I can click through to do the basic photo edits and see the image just fine, but it will not show in the thumbnail or in the post.

My only guess is that there is an issue with the folders in my hosting. I have 2 different 2010 folders and no 2011.

I would be fine with you having a look “under the hood.” I am still pretty new to wordpress (nov ’10). I’m just so tired of this problem! I’m wondering if my sidebar issue is part of it – any time (in any theme) I add a second sidebar, it appears below the posts, not where it should. It’s just a little limiting!

Anyway, I’d rather not post any login info out in the open. Let me get things backed up and let me know what all you would need to know.

    Thanks!
