Hi ,I think I found a little bug: This has been since 2.76 to 2.7.11

    1. Take any image from the library that has text in the descritption, insert it on a page and turn on the overlay.
    2. Deselect both settings in the Description section (Always/hover) = the description should not show at all and hit save.
    3. In the frontend, the description is newertheless always shown on hover.
    4. Go to backend and “Hover” will be selected again although I deselected and saved earlier.

    All the best

    Greg

Nevermind, the caption is always inserted automatically when you insert the image and you have to manually remove it from the inserted image, in order to not show up in the frontend.

A little UX thing – I still think turning of both settings should mean it doesnt get shown.
