Image Orientation

    Hi there, I’m using GDbbpress Attachments over on https://faithoutdoorz.com and it works well, except when people upload a picture that is supposed to be in portrait orientation, it changes the orientation to landscape.

    You can’t view the images on the forum without signing up, but if you don’t mind doing so and letting my know if this is something that I can change I would appreciate it. Whether I can change with a setting or with a function I’m happy to give it a shot.

    The plugin is not making any changes to uploaded files. The orientation of the image depends on the device, and WordPress doesn’t use that information, so it appears as the image is wrong, but it is not: WordPress shows it as it is, but it is not applying orientation EXIF. Try searching plugins for one that can fix the orientation on upload.
