Hi. How to manually pick images that were missed by the plugin for optimization?

    Hi,

Could you please be a little bit of more specific what do you mean by “missed” ?

    Best regards,

The plugin is skipping some images during the optimization process.
    1. This screenshot shows a skip image in the media library https://prntscr.com/mxzurs
    2. There are several other https://prntscr.com/mxzveq.
I tried resetting the process to default and restarting but it still skipped the images.

I think maybe having an optimization option in the media library like image optimization plugins do for every single image would be a plus.

    Hi,

Image optimization grabs images from WP database, it shouldn’t skip.

How were these images uploaded/created ? did any other plugin do anything with images ?

I had optimized the images with wp smush before. But I did not touch the original images. I upload all images through the media library. I have also not touched original images with this plugin.

Is it possible that the “skipped” images are already as optimized as they can get? LiteSpeed’s image optimization won’t save a new copy if it can’t improve upon the original.

Could be. I was trying to convert them to webp.

There are some cases where the WebP turns out to be bigger than the original JPG, and it those cases, we just leave the original.

    Aha. Good to know. Thanks.
