Image Optimisation pt2

    I’d originally mentioned that my image optimisation with Litespeed Cache was working perfectly, but alas after uploading more images, it appears that it’s not.

    So it’s a return to the original question:

    Does anyone know why it’s taking so long to optimise images lately?

    in past few weeks after v5.4 release there was a heavy load , but it should be normalized now

    if you still have any image optm issue , please create a ticket by mail to support at litespeedtech.com , we will investigate further.

    So I placed four new images in the media library, nipped downstairs to make a coffee and two cheese toasties, then came back to the media library, refreshed, and no optimisations had taken place.

    There’s something gravely wrong here.

    At 18.54 UK time, I received a message from Litespeed Tech asking for admin credentials, so that they could examine any problems.

    By 19.15 UK time, I had sent the credentials and added a further five images, so that the rep would have something to work with.

    It’s now 23.45 as I write this, and the five images are still unoptimised, with no sign at all of the Lightspeed Tech logging in.

    What on earth is going off?

    earth is big place, probably time zone thing , I will see if I can speed it up a bit.

    Apparently, the failure to optimise images was due to a server overload in these past few days.

    I’ve just uploaded three, and then four more images to my media library, all of which got optimised within a couple of minutes.

    Ok, so I’ve left this on purpose until today, and marked this thread as UNresolved.

    Yet again, my images are not getting optimised after an hour of Litespeed Cache receiving them.

    Will somebody give the server a good whack, please?
