image on the menu

The password protection is not related to theme. It might be set by a security plugin or your server settings. As for the images on homepage those are featured images of posts. You need to choose the category for the posts and those will be displayed with their featured image. Thank you.

I’m having the same issue.

Everything else in the theme seems easy to customize but I can’t seem to find a way to lose that menu background.

The image should be uploaded from Appearance>Portfolio Gallery>General>Menu Background image. Thank you.

I don’t have the menu option under general. I only have Background image, which changes the entire background and not just the background of the menu area.
