Image on Featured Slider blurry

I have uploaded an image to my page. I made it the featured image of my post, and then went into slider options, added that page as the featured slider pic. The pic successfully appeared as the slider image, but its blurry, and doesnt take up the entire space of the slider. How do i go about fixing this?
