    Hey dugararchit,

    I strongly recommend upgrading WordPress to the latest release (currently 4.3.1). Not only because it will fix this issue, but it closes up dozens (if not hundreds) of security holes in the software. The version you are using is nearly 3 years old.

    The reason the icon doesn’t load on that version is that it uses the dashicons font, which was first included in version 3.8

    If you ignore my strong warning and decide not to upgrade, you’ll need to find a way to load the dashicons font.

    Again, by far the easiest way would be to update your install to the latest version of WordPress.

    I can’t support old code.
