Image not shown to custom post type until update

  • When saving a custom post type image, page is not updated with the image after selecting the add image button. Once the post is updated, the image will show in the editor but not after selecting the button for add. It makes it difficult for the end user to understand what if anything has happened.

    Can you give me some screenshots? I’m not totally clear about the issue.

    Sure, what email should I send them to? I’m not sure how to add them here. Basically the last field on my custom post type is an image. If I go in to an existing post that does not have the image when created and then select the “Choose File” button; I get a window to select a file. If I select the file and then hit the “+Add New image” link, the screen scrolls to the top of the form. But the image does not show in the upload image area. If I hit update the post and then go back into it, the image is showing in the image area.
