Image not showing in emailed gift certificate

  • When I order a gift card, the email that is sent to the GC recipient has a broken image icon where the logo should be. Can you tell me how to either fix the broken image in the email or simply hide the image completely?

    This is probably due to lack of permissions in the images upload folder (wp-content/uploads). Try setting them to 755.

    Hi Christian,

    Many thanks for the prompt reply. I appreciate it. I checked the folder and it is already at 755.

    Curiously, I forwarded a copy of the offending gift certificate email to another address. When I opened it there, the image was visible. Not sure what’s happening.

    Is there a way to eliminate the image altogether?
