Image not opening on click

I’m wondering if the problem is that this plugin isn’t compatible with 4.1.1 — and I think that I read a post from someone else with a similar problem, but there was no response.

I’m using a masonry gallery, and when i click on an image (which is linked to media file) instead of opening up the image, it just shuffles the images around on the page.

Is this in fact a compatibility problem?
