• Hi Team,

I’m uploading prodcuts with the built in import feature, in the CSV file the image is assigned correctly to the product.
After import, I found out the images are not marked as “attached” to the prodcut if I checked them in the media tab. but they are showing if I view my prodcut page.

Is it possible to marked the image attached to the certain prodcut after import? because I can’t do it indivindualy for 8 thousand products.

    Hi there,

As a first step, can you share a copy of the CSV file you’re using to upload those products? Also, are the same images assigned to multiple products?

    Hi,

Im using the CSV file generated from the Export feature, i don’t know how I can share the file here.
and every images is just assgined to one products, no other items uses the said image.

Last question if image are not attached does this affect performance?

I have the same issue. Not sure if it makes any difference but I upload and import the product images to media library before I import the product CSV file. The products turn out all right with their correct images but in the media library they are all remain marked as unattached. To re-import I had to manually select and delete them which is prone to making mistakes. Sample CSV file: https://we.tl/t-3eT3g8NuQT

Since products get imported with their images all right, I don’t think this is a problem with the CSV format. It rather looks like a bug. There is already an extensive (unsolved / unacknowledged ) bug report about this https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/27281
