• I discovered a strange behavior after having troubles in the display of certain thumbnails/images (on site and on the medias library).

After disabling all plugins and reinstall a basic theme, I noticed that my problem was not fixed. The image was nicely uploaded on server, but the image never show.

    Here what appends :

I noticed that this only happened with files that contain “google-ads” in their name, or that begin with “google-adwords”. It’s very problematic for me because it’s important for my SEO to be able to name images as I want.

I suspect your site has some security somewhere that blocks requests for anything containing “google-ads” etc. Since you disabled plugins and it happens, that rules out WP security plugins. Look in your .htaccess file for a rule that blocks requests containing that string. Typically rules that start with RewriteCond or RedirectMatch are used for this sort of thing, followed by a regexp of string fragments to block.
