Image Links cant be seen by Google Merchant Center

The issue you’re experiencing is likely due to the image file format. Google Merchant Center doesn’t support .webp format, which is the format of your images. You’ll need to convert your images to a format that Google Merchant Center supports, such as JPEG, TIFF, BMP, GIF, or PNG support.

Once you’ve converted your images, you can re-upload them to your WooCommerce store and then sync your products with Google Merchant Center again. The image names should then be recognized as valid.

I think the problem is with the Plugin “Google Listings and Ads” because this has happened to all websites i used it. yet they don’t use .webp images. please advise

This error usually means the name of the images has an invalid character. While checking the names of the images you shared I noticed that one of the hyphens on the name seems to actually be a dash, which is not supported.

1. Rename the product image on your computer: Make sure to use a naming convention that includes only latin characters and avoids any non-English characters or special characters. A good naming convention could be something like “productname-description”. This will ensure that the image file name is compatible with Google and prevents any syncing issues.

I understand that this may seem like a small change, but it is important because Google has specific requirements for the data it syncs from your WooCommerce store. Non-latin characters or special characters may not be recognized by Google, resulting in syncing issues.

I have updated the product image but still the same error, am getting this on Google Merchant center “Update your online store so that it can be viewed from mobile device”

The latest error indicates that your online store needs to be mobile-friendly. This means your image issue seems already resolved.

To resolve the last issue, we recommend following the guide shared by Google here: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6098296?hl=en

Additionally, please ensure your WooCommerce theme is responsive and mobile-friendly. You can check this by viewing your site on different devices or using online tools such as Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test. If your theme is not mobile-friendly, you may need to consider switching to one that is.

To the contrary, from what I gather. The currently installed theme version is 3.3.12, according to its System Status Report (SSR), while, according to its changelog, its latest version available is 3.3.16 (with added compatibility for more recent versions of both WordPress and WooCommerce).

Version 2.5.17 of the Google Listings & Ads plugin, is also released.

As a next step, kindly make sure that all theme/plugin files are updated to their latest versions, respectfully, and test if the issue persists, or otherwise.

Additionally, could you please provide us with screenshots of the Product Feed and Settings tabs, so that we can see what you are describing?

Just to clarify, the Multivendor Marketplace functionality was installed around the time the issue(s) started appearing, or otherwise?

Were you able to find a solution to the problem? I have exactly the same problem, but it only affects 5 products, everything else works fine. And it definitely has nothing to do with the product name of the image…
