I cannot pinpoint the location of this errant URL on this page created in Elementor and containing dozens of images. How do I hone in on the errant URL? I’ve done code searches, examined its contents in raw source, etc.etc.

Clicking “Dismiss” only does it for that day. I would rather fix this than consider “Unlink” and/or “Edit URL”, as then I could head-off any future issues or incidents if I knew where the root problem lay…. hope that makes sense?

Please advise.

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

I checked the source page, and indeed I don’t see this URL on any image.

The reported link points to the page itself, which is working correctly.

I noticed the link is being reported to HTTP and the website is working on HTTPS.

Can you navigate to Elementor > Tools > Search Replace, find the URLs using:

https://www.gosquires.org/ and replace to https://www.gosquires.org/

Make sure to make to take a full backup before running this.

Then flush all caches, navigate to WordPress > Settings > Link Checker > Advanced > Forced recheck.

Let us know the result you got.

Thanks for your detailed response — it’s quite helpful.

I went through your instructions systematically, and am now on the other side of it — the recheck turned nothing up at this time, so I will examine the files tomorrow after a 24 hour timeframe has elapsed and double-check to insure there is nothing picked up after this first Check since this reset has completed.

If you do not hear from me again, that can only be good news. ??
