Image is missing from Google preview

If the featured image is showing on the mobile preview in the Yoast SEO metabox, but not when you select the Desktop preview, then the plugin is working as expected. See How to use the Google / snippet preview in Yoast SEO.

If the problem is something different or in Google searches, can you give us more details or a URL so we can understand where the problem is happening? You can also send link to a screenshot that shows what you expected to see.

No image coming in google search as well

Thanks for the screenshot. Google is not showing the image you set for your page in the mobile search results. Is that correct?

Yoast uses the image you provide to mimic the Google mobile search result. It does not mean that Google will fetch that featured image to show it in mobile search results.

There’s no specific setting in Yoast that allows you to define a thumbnail image for search results.

Google seems to automatically generate the thumbnail image based on the set of images included in the page itself. Unfortunately, there’s no clear documentation about what Google takes into account to choose the thumbnail image so we’re unable to provide you with detailed instructions here.

It doesn’t show the selected or ANY image in any of the searches from mobile or desktop
This is a huge flow as it impact my click through rate
Can you please help to sort it out?
I do have plenty of images on the page and the featured image is set but somehow from the list of results only MY website comes without image
