Image instead of house in header?

    Hi,

    I’d like to replace the house in the header with a picture of myself (as Anders has in the screenshots on this theme’s home page).

    I change home.png in the 1x and 2x folders, but didn’t realize that this simply changed the house to a photo of myself. I then made the images bigger, assuming I could just fill the circle and achieve what I wanted. Neither worked, as you can see here:

    What am I missing? I am assuming the size is restricted somewhere (or that there’s an entirely better way of doing this!) that someone can point me to…

  • In wordpress admin navigate to Appearance > Header. Upload a header image. That image will be used to fill in the circle. I used an image that was 400×400 navtively, and let the system scale it to the correct proportions. On hover, the house image will fade in to replace the header image you uploaded.
