Image inside header isn’t cooperating

I’m trying to help a friend with her webpage. Everything on the page is perfect save ONE THING…

In the menu at the top of the page, the “blog” button should line up with the rest of the words in the menu at the middle of the button, not along the bottom.

As it is now, the button appears higher than the rest of the menu items. It should be much lower. But I can’t get the css to move the darned thing down.
