Image insertion problem

  • When I try to add images to a post (WP2.6.2)the picture will not display, using either the flash or browse upload. Pictures are stored in gallery, but no icon in the thumbnail, the image itself will not display.

    Videos, using the latest plug in’s, will not play either, the embeded youtube videos will play at youtube (when video is double clicked on my page) but it will not play on my page itself.

    Can the two issues be related? Thanks for any replies.
