Image Inserting only in Square shape.

When I’m trying to insert an image in the post.That image only inserting in square shape only.If I’m trying to resize the image.That only resizing in a square shape.If I edit the image using WordPress that was fine but anything is not happening to my image.All configurations were right but from few days It is happening when function.php was in problem.It was showing me an error for a line which was for Jetpack.So, I remove the line and uninstall the Jetpack. But after that time It’s happening.But when I’m trying to reinstall that plugin it is showing me a fatal error.
Please help me. What Can I do now?How can I solve the probelm?
