• Hi and thanks for this wonderful plugin! ??

I’ve got many feedbacks from users saying that the event input form is not very usable: they mostly have problems uploading images.

    ADMIN SIDE
I use settings to allow only some dimensions (pixel and kb) in order to have too big or too small images and to avoid to be too heavy.

    USER SIDE
Many people load images from their phones or they are not very aware of how to resize correctly their photos, so they give up and send the event without an image.

    SOLUTION PROPOSAL
Would be great to have an “auto-resize/compress” option, so users can just upload what they have and the plugin will do the rest. This would decrease the amount of events that I’ve to manually fill with an image (and the search process to find it though social networks).

    WP API
Technically WP should have already the API to do this:

Updates to Image Processing in WordPress 5.3

Hope you will consider this, thanks!

Would be great to have the ability to make a field “required”, I didn’t find the documentation to do it. I would make images required for example, also the description and the location: I often get these fields empty. ??

It might happen because they put an image with wrong size, they send the event and get an error. somehow the data gets cleaned (users often use mobile): I’m still not sure if there’s a bug or just a UI/UX problem.
