• I want to add an image to one of my links. How do I put the image in the Add Link option? I have tried pasting the HTML code pointing to the image, but the code shows up not the image.

    Thanks

  • Did you scroll to the bottom part of the screen when adding the link ?
There is some image linking stuff there.

Okay, I figured out the image part. But can you have an image and text both? Like this:

    Photos [with camera gif]

I want the gif beside the word Photos.

    Thanks

So, for those of us who haven’t figured it out, would you mind elaborating?

    Thanks!

JohnStuff: Unfortunately the image overrides the text.

trueepicure: Either of these should work:

    https://my.site/path/to/image.jpg
    /path/to/image.jpg

One of these paths to the image you want to use would go into the Image URI field.

Hmmmm… that’s what I did. I guess I’ll have to futz with it a little more. It just doesn’t want to show the image. I can get the image to show up in the body of the blog, and the path is correct, even when I look in the mySQL database itself.

    Thanks for the quick answer.

I ended up having to go into the index.php template and hand code the links there. For some reason my blog it won’t take images in the links section, even though it says I should be able to.
