    Hi,

    Could I please get some help. My problem is after upgrading to woocommerce 8.6.1 the image hover and button hover in the shop with wpbakery 7.5 stopped working This problem only occurs on mobile device and Safari browser. Does the new version of woocommerce support the Safari browser? Please advise

    I checked your website on both Safari and Chrome on mobile and the hover seemed to work equally on both browsers.

    Thank you very much for your reply carolm29 I would like to add that the problem only occurs on mobile devices in the safari browser. I am using the safari browser version 17.4

    It’s more about fluidity. After the woo update, there is no fluidity in the safari browser compared to other browsers. This only applies to mobile devices and the safari browser

    Yes below the link to the video where I showed the operation on two different browsers. Categories and banners in safari after touch effect hover does not work as smoothly as in other browser. In firefox browser everything works fine:

    Thanks for sharing a video demonstration showing the issue on your end.

    This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

    If you do not see the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To determine which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Rest assured, I couldn’t replicate the issue using a default WordPress theme. Since you are using a premium and third-party theme, it would be best to reach out to the theme’s developers for further assistance here. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

    I wish I could help more, but hopefully, this gets you going in the right direction to get the job done.
