We have a customer who wants to edit something on image hover but when they click ‘edit’ nothing happens. When logged in as admin, this all works fine. I went into Image Hover settings and changed the ‘who can edit’ to the customers user role. This still didn’t work.
At the moment we have had to give them admin access which understandably, we don’t want to do for long.

Please can the ‘who can edit’ be fixed on the plugin.

    Many thanks

    Hi @irunsupport

Thanks for reaching us and hope you doing well.

Our Image hover plugins build based on the wp shortcode and only WordPress default users can get access to edit it. The image hovers admin area will work when the admin dashboard will show and you set the proper ‘who can edit’. By default, the admin or site developer uses our shortcode so we build it based on them.

We are sorry to say, If you want to give access to your customers our plugins can’t handle individual users.

For security reasons, we suggest you create custom plugins for your customers. We can’t make it public or update it to support custom users.
