    The images are resized according the your slider settings. Set those first, then upload images. They will be cropped accordingly.

    Thanks Andrea, sadly as usual I am not wording my questions very well!

    I need to display the full height of the image – not cropped.

    In my functions file I have added a size that would fit the slider uncropped – is there a way that I can specify THAT size image to show?

    (I’m guessing the answer is no ?? )

    Not unless the image size is the same as the slider settings.

    Thanks Andrea. I did add a size exactly the same as the slider, but some photos would not be the same dimensions as they are different proportions.

    The images used in the slider all need to be the same dimensions (uploaded larger & cropped by WP is fine) for the slider to work properly.
