• Wow is this frustrating or what!

I have been trying to get my custom Image Header jpg to be used by WordPress instead of the one I created using the Image Header and Color setting under Presentations.

I have tried most of the current solutions posted and nothing seems to be working.

I don’t understand why the Image Header and Color setting does not have a simple setting like:

    [ ] Use custom image [https://mysite/wordpress/themes/mytheme/mycustomimage.jpg

Simple and you don’t have to shat glass trying to get your theme to use a custom image.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Regards
    mliving

  • I went through your older posts, since you didnt provide a link, ( located this that you mentioned in another thread: https://www.cupesudbury.org/ ).

If this is the site youre talking about, you have more to worry about any custom image, which by the way, I see just fine.

Thats a VERY old version of WP and wide open to various exploits, I imagine.

For what its worth, it sounds like your running K2? If so, they provide their own support.

No the problem is not with cupesudbury.org.

I’m using WordPress on an inhouse server getting the Theme setup for a new site.

Any suggestions on how to solve my problem or would you rather point out any more failings with cupesudbury.org!?

Is this NOT the case? Im not aware of WP having a “Image Header and Color setting”, but I know K2 does.

    Correction:
If I understand correctly from another post, the defualt theme (Kubrick) has some sort of thingy like this, or did at one time. I am afraid I cannot help you, Ive never used the default theme for longer than the 1 minute it took me to upload my own.

btw, letting you know that site needs to be upgraded is doing you a favor, if in fact you are associated with it. You ought to thank me for reminding you.
