• Hello All,

I’ve owned a blog now for over three years. I have thousands of thumbnail images that have always been directly linked to the full size image. A simple click of a thumbnail redirects a viewer to a blank new page with the full size image. This is a very unprofessional look for a professional blog and it doesn’t easily promote the viewer back to the page. It’s just not a viewer-friendly way of handling images.

My question is, how does one get images to open inline or within the same blog? As examples… wwtdd [dot] com or dlisted [dot] com (try any thumbnails). I assume there’s a plug-in that handles this type of interaction?

I went through something very similar recently going from a non-thumbnail supported template to a supported one. Luckily I found Auto-Post Thumbnail which generated thumbnails for all of my old posts and linked them appropriately saving me hundreds of hours of manual, post-by-post edits. I am hoping there is something similar for opening thumbnails into larger images.

I’d appreciate any assistance on this. I really am not finding anything too easily and I’m a coding novice.

Try looking for a lightbox plugin.

And, btw, a blog is a complete site. A single entry is a post. The difference is important ??
