Image gallery with external links

  • I’d like to create an image gallery in which each image links to a different external site.NextGEN Gallery is my preferred image gallery tool, but AFAIK, its thumbnails link to larger images only. There’s a hack that uses the NextGEN Custom Fields add-on, but in my experience, implementing this hack alters the functionality of all galleries sitewide, whereas I want to do so for only one specific gallery.

    I’ve requested this feature for NGG v2.0, which is currently in development. But in lieu of that, is there a good way to produce such a gallery, short of handcoding an HTML table with links?
