    Hello,

I absolutely love this plugin and have been using it for years! But for the past couple weeks the image gallery slideshow has stopped working for my website ?? billsbackyardwildlife.com

When I click on an image in my galleries, the image opens up in a new page rather than in the RPS slideshow gallery. I saw another post in this support form with the same issue but I am not finding the same error. I am unable to identify the issue and i cannot access Settings for this plugin.

    Thanks in advance!

Glad RPS Image Gallery has been useful to you for such a long time! It seems the fancyBox script is not loading, which is expressed as a JavaScript error:

TypeError: $(...).fancybox is not a function

It may just be a matter of checking the compatibility and slideshow options in settings to make certain fancyBox is enabled. Try the following:

    1. Make sure you have the Redux Framework plugin installed.
    2. In your admin, go to Settings > RPS Image Gallery.
    3. Select the Compatibility tab.
    4. Make sure fancyBox is set to “On”
    5. Select the Slideshow tab.
    6. Make sure Slideshow is set to “On”.
    7. Select “Save Changes”

If you find both options were already set to “On”, you can disable – save – then enable – save to ensure the options are saved to the database.

Let us know how that works out for you. If it doesn’t, we’ll dig a bit more to see what we can find.

Thank you – that did the trick!

Compatibility, fancyBox and slideshow were set to “On” so I disabled, saved, then reenabled.

    I appreciate the help!
