Image gallery resize/align: to code or to plugin
-
good afternoon,
I am new to the forums so excuse me if I am out of line with my requests…Hi(waving hand)
I am currently using 2013 theme with the oQey image gallery plugin, and for some reason the attributes in the setting do nothing in the attempt to re-size the image of slide show gallery itself. I tried to use the wordpress gui to re-size the image no luck…I tried to align the image to the left(code present in the text version) without any result. Two questions: Can i manipulate the oQey plugin to re-size and align through gui and code or is it the css template that is not allowing it to occur? 2. Is there a way to create an image gallery and slide show using strictly css/code? I like the concept of plugins but I would assume that coding things like photo viewers and embedding video would be more efficient?
Honestly I have a knowledge of web design but I have not been actively doing it since html 4 and css was barely in its second version(97-98). I can understand and implement but as I said It is not in use. So it takes me hours. I run a Non-profit and am looking for a few folks that could lend a hand or two or three. Shameless self plug….

I have read the how to pages on images already too.
Thank you all,
